"I
was a preacher's kid. My father was the most Godly man I have
ever known. He sought God in everything, everyday.
During a week-long revival meeting at our church in Edgerton
Wyoming, I was convicted and, at the age of seven accepted
Jesus as my Savior. We attended every service and on weeknights
I would go to other churches with dad for revivals and special
services. But, later, while a student at Bible College I fell
out of fellowship. I was kicked out of college and found
myself in theNavy. While in San Diego I had three roommates
who I thought were just like me. We all loved basketball and
played on the same team. But, they were unsaved. After
a couple months I realized that I knew something, rather I
knew someone that they didn't know. I repented
and returned to the Lord. After the Navy I went
on to get my degree in Broadcasting at Cedarville College.
I met Vicky while she was going to Maranatha Baptist
Bible College. Working in Christian Radio Station management,
we havelived all over the country. WI, IL, WV, OH, IA, MI
and back to IL. We had three beautiful children.
In 1997 God took our oldest daughter, Yvonne, home at the
age of 17. I have realized that time is short. So,
I have one priority. That is to do all I can for the Lord.
I have a burden for using today's technology to reach the
lost. As you can tell by my photo, I am not young anymore,
so get out of my way I have a lot to do and not much time
to get it done. I am glad to have found a solid
Independent Baptist Church that doesn't want to blend in with
the world and is proud to identify itself as BAPTIST."
